ASHLY BJORN
OWNER & INSTRUCTOR
(Hot Power Vinyasa & Hot Sculpt)

My passion for fitness started at a young age. Growing up, my family owned a local gym, so I fell in love with exercise very young. I started teaching cycling, boot camp, sculpt, TRX, and other group fitness classes over 13 years ago. The formats I taught were intense classes, so I decided to attend a hot yoga class to create a little more balance. It was love at first sight and I signed up for teaching training after only a couple classes. I have done two 200-hour vinyasa/power teacher trainings and also have my 500-RYT.

The yoga room is my playground. Whether it’s through fun transitions, arm balances, inversions, themed classes, or just a basic vinyasa class, I love to push and encourage my students.

I am married to the love of my life and have 4 beautiful children. I majored in accounting from BYU-Provo. Other than yoga, I enjoy road biking, traveling, and watching my kids play sports!

I have always dreamt of opening my own cycling or yoga studio but didn’t expect it would happen when it did! How grateful I am for God’s goodness and the circumstances that gave me the courage to take the leap and follow my dream! The theme of my studio is “We Rise by Lifting Others”. I strongly believe that when we lead with love and kindness and seek to strengthen and serve others we are happier and feel more joy in our lives. Uplift Hot Yoga will be a place of refuge, where students and teachers will feel loved, valued, and seen. My hope is that everyone will find classes they love, teachers that fill their soul, and a space to feel safe.

I took my first yoga class in 2020. I fell in love with the practice and knew I wanted to learn more. I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher training at the end of 2021 with Boise OM school and have been teaching and practicing yoga ever since. I have enjoyed continuing teacher education from Carmen Aguilar (cyogalife) and working toward my 500 hour Teacher training with Boise Flow Studio.
For me, the yoga asana practice is such a beautiful escape. One hour to forget the outside world. Focus on yourself, connect to your breath, get out of your head and into your body.
I am passionate about teaching powerful, energetic yoga classes that challenge students to explore fun transitions, optional arm balances, and inversions—all while building mobility,
balance, and strength in both body and mind. My classes offer a space to step away from the outside world, connect to breath, and shift from the mind into the body. With a focus on movement, exploration, and play, I encourage students to try something new, have fun on the mat, and, most importantly, approach their practice with love and gratitude.
Outside of yoga, my greatest joy is my family-spending time with my amazing husband and three children (ages 13, 11, and 8). Together, we love camping, hiking, movie nights, and exploring the beauty of Idaho.

It is an honor to practice with you at Uplift! I look forward to our time together learning and growing. I have a passion for teaching strength movements with proper form. Through this approach, we can come away feeling stronger and more balanced. This passion for anatomy and strength comes from my background as a Registered Dental Hygienist and as an avid weight lifter. I decided to become a certified personal trainer because the highlight of each day is when I get to move my body and quiet my mind. I love it! Especially since my life is very busy with 4 amazing kids going in lots of directions. My husband and I are originally from Arizona, but we love Idaho so much and have been here for 4 years. I also love to sing in choirs, and I have 2 adorable doodles. And I can’t wait to meet you!

I am super passionate about fitness and health and I love teaching group fitness and connecting with the students in my classes!
I graduated from Utah State University with my Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2009.
I have since become nationally certified by AFAA in group fitness instruction and am a NASM certified Personal Trainer. I teach multiple licensed fitness formats and am so excited to be teaching Sculpt and HIIT at Uplift!
My love for group fitness runs deep and I am a firm believer that real results happen when you work hard together.
I am a busy mom to 4 kids and I feel like being a mother is my greatest life accomplishment. I also love to bake and travel and I spend as much time as I can on the tiny island of Kauai.
Julie Hart
(Vinyasa & YIN)

Julie Hart is a passionate and experienced yoga teacher based in Boise, Idaho, offering classes in Hatha, Power, Restorative, and Yin Yoga. With a teaching style that blends strength, stillness, and soul, Julie creates space for students to move mindfully, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves — both physically and energetically.
Drawing on her advanced study of yoga for women’s health and the mind-body connection, Julie integrates hormone-balancing practices into her teaching, helping students restore balance, reduce stress, and support overall vitality. Her classes often weave in specific postures, breathwork, and mindful rest designed to nourish the endocrine system and promote inner harmony at every stage of life.
A proud graduate of both Boise State University and Gonzaga University, Julie brings a thoughtful, grounded approach to her teaching. Her classes are informed by years of study, a lifelong commitment to wellness, and the joys and challenges of balancing a full family and professional life.
Julie helps build intentional yoga communities focused on empowerment, connection, and holistic wellbeing. Whether you’re flowing through a dynamic Power class or sinking into stillness in Yin, you’ll find her teaching both accessible and deeply enriching.

Off the mat, Julie is a devoted wife to Larry, a software engineer, and a proud mom of three incredible kids: Ella (22), currently pursuing nursing at College of Western Idaho; Wesley (21), studying Civil Engineering at the University of Idaho; and Harry (17), a senior at Boise High School. The family wouldn’t be complete without Yogi and Booberry, their two beloved dogs who live up to their playful names.
Julie’s yoga journey is rooted in community, family, and the belief that there’s a practice for everyone — whether you’re just beginning or years into your path. Her mission is to help others reconnect with their bodies’ natural rhythms and rediscover balance through movement, breath, and mindful awareness.

I have been a part of the fitness industry for over 15 years, but have loved everything involving health and fitness since I was a kid. I graduated from BYU with a degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Fitness and Wellness. At that time I also certified to become a personal trainer and exercise physiologist through ACSM. Shortly after graduating I became a certified Spin instructor and have been teaching spin and group fitness ever since. I love anything that involves being outdoors and active. As a family we love to hike, snow ski, paddle board, and water ski. I also love to run and bike as well as the occasional triathlon, but helping others find joy and success in their health and fitness journey is what I love most!

I am thrilled to be a part of the Uplift team! My passion for fitness started when I first became a mom. I knew I needed a small window in my life where I could focus on becoming a better, stronger, and a more grounded version of myself. I fell in love with strength training and triathlon racing. Fast forward 11 years, 4 children and multiple life experiences and challenges, that desire hasn't changed. Life is chaotic and busy with 4 kids. You will often see us snow skiing, camping our riding our bikes with our 2 golden retrievers.
I decided to become a certified fitness trainer because I love sharing this passion with anyone who is looking to challenge and rediscover the best versions of themselves. I believe accountability and community are wonderful assets to utilize in our fitness journey; and I am excited you will join me in the mornings for sculpt and HIIT!
SALLY ROBERTS
(YIN)

I came to yoga after years of rehabilitation following an ischemic stroke. With the guidance of doctors and therapists, and the support of friends and family, I had regained my ability to walk and to live independently, but it was yoga that reconnected me with my body. I knew this was an experience I wanted to share with others—this aliveness, this healing.

My formal education culminated in my Master’s in English from Boise State University, where I taught English Composition. I also taught Spanish at Hewlett-Packard. Later, I opened a dance studio in my home as a way to be home with my children. Within each subject area, I focused on building confidence in my students. I knew that the information I presented only mattered if students felt empowered enough to use it—to put their learning into practice.

Yoga empowers the practitioner from his or her first downward dog, or ah-ha breath. It is this strength and this connection that I share with my students. Yoga builds bridges between mind and body, between breath and movement, between student and community. As we honor ourselves—our body and our mind—we learn to honor each other and the community at large.

I have been practicing yoga for 15 years and teaching for 4. I began practicing as a form of movement after dancing throughout childhood. When Yoga became more than a form of movement for me, I decided to go through Yoga teacher training while living in Georgia in 2021. I moved to Meridian, ID from Louisville, KY in 2024 and have since fallen in love with the Treasure Valley.
I graduated with a degree in Public Health from Utah Valley University in 2015. I am married and have 3 kids. My family keeps me busy and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Outside of practicing yoga and cleaning up toddler messes, I work part-time as a virtual assistant. I love to read, bake, hike and spend time with my family.
JESSICA CRANNEY
(Mild Heat Vinyasa & Slow Flow)

I discovered yoga at a time when I felt truly lost. After struggling with postpartum depression following the birth of my youngest, yoga became a grounding force that helped me find balance again. I earned my 200-hour RYT certification from Sage Yoga and developed a deep love for slow, juicy flows that open up every corner of the body. There’s something deeply soulful about simply being present with your body, mind, and breath on the mat.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me outdoors, soaking up nature, adventuring with my husband, or playing games with my wild crew of six kids—who definitely keep me on my toes! Yoga is my sanctuary—a joyful space where I can catch my breath, reset, and find peace. I look forward to meeting you on the mat!

Hello, yogis! Becca here, I’m a California native who discovered yoga in 2015 after becoming an empty nester. What began as curiosity quickly became a deep passion. In 2018, after three years of dedicated practice, I earned my Bikram certification to both deepen my own journey and share the practice I love with others.
Life took us on a journey—traveling, visiting family, and selling our home of 29 years. We eventually moved to Marin County in 2020, just before the pandemic and shut down Bay Area studios. In 2021, we relocated to Boise to be near our daughters and grandbabies. Now, I’m rooted here in Idaho and back in the hot room! 3.5 years teaching in Boise
Yoga has been a powerful healer for my body and mind. As long as I’m able, I’ll be practicing and sharing this lifelong passion.
See you in the hot room!
-Namaste

I strive to create a supportive and uplifting environment where everyone leaves feeling successful, stronger, and more connected.
Beyond the physical practice, I believe deeply in the power of community, and connection and trust are at the heart of my classes and my approach to teaching. When I’m not on the mat, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two teenage boys and can often be found cheering them on at their sporting events.

Hi friends! I’m Charity, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the Uplift Hot Yoga community! I’m an E-RYT 200 and YACEP-certified yoga teacher, with specialized training in Yin, Somatic movement, Ayurvedic Sciences, and Sound Healing. I love teaching from a place of curiosity, blending my passion for anatomy and mindful movement to help you truly feel your body, release stress, and reconnect with your natural rhythm.

Off the mat, I’m a bit of a nomad! I love traveling the world, scuba diving ship wrecks, and riding motorbikes through jungle roads. I believe yoga mirrors that same adventure: discovering new edges, trusting the ride, and finding joy in the journey.

I’ve been teaching yoga for five years, inspired by the way this practice transformed my own life. Yoga taught me how to slow down, find peace in the present moment, and move through life with more awareness and compassion. Wanting to share that same sense of balance and grounding with others, I became a teacher to help students discover their own connection between body, mind, and spirit.
I specialize in Yin and Power Vinyasa, blending gentle stillness with empowering movement. As a certified orthotic fitter, I bring a deep understanding of anatomy, joint health, and long-term body wellness into my classes. My teaching style emphasizes alignment, mindfulness, and sustainable movement—making my classes accessible to all levels and body types.
I believe that yoga is for everyone, and that the lessons we learn on the mat—patience, presence, and resilience—extend far beyond the studio. When I’m not teaching, you can find me traveling, creating art, or spending time with my family, always exploring new ways to live with intention and joy.

Hi everyone! Honored and so excited to join the Uplift team as a Hot Sculpt instructor! I’m Sculpt Flow certified with a background in collegiate track at Corban University and gym training.
I love creating flows that blend strength and mindful movement— upbeat sequences that challenge and leave you feeling empowered. The gym and hot room have always been my spaces of serenity and joy, helping me stay grounded as a mom, and I’m so passionate about sharing that energy with others.
I’m an Oregon native but I’ve called Idaho my home for almost 10 years. Happily married to my college sweetheart, and together we have a crew of wild chickies, 2 beautiful children and 1 cat. When I’m not in the studio you’ll find me gardening, at the river or cheering on my kids at sports events.
I can’t wait to sculpt and grow alongside you! This is a dream and I’m beyond excited to learn and sweat with this amazing community.
